Pizza Rolls






For the dough
1 cup warm water
2 tsp yeast
2 1/2 cups flour, plus more for dusting work surface
1 Tbsp olive oil
1 tsp salt

For the filling:
1 pound of ground beef
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder

salt and pepper to taste
1 cup of cheese

Place all dough ingredients in a large bowl and mix well to form a soft dough.   Cover with warm kitchen towel and let it rest for 30 minutes.   Roll out the dough  to 17 x 17  inches.   Spread pizza sauce, cheese and meat.   Roll like a cigar and pitch end to seal.    Cut into 8 pieces and place in baking pan cover with moist kitchen towel and let it rise for 30 minutes.  Preheat oven to 400 degree and bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.

Note: You can add fresh basil and other herbs. Use whatever meat you like.  You can use store bought pizza dough
